CONDITIONS OF ENTRY & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

In addition to the basic content of the video, here are some additional things to keep in mind. NOTE: If your submission does not meet these requirements, it will be returned to you and you will not be eligible for the random drawing nor inclusion in the final product.

Again, we are looking for a NATURAL, SINCERE TONE. Mood can be serious or playful. Show any range of emotion--happy, funny, compassionate. The most important thing is to sound sincere. You are not a spokesperson--you are a real, everyday joe, who is going to buy the DVD for someone you care about.

  • Entry must be tasteful. No profanity, nudity or other obscenity will be considered.

  • For video, look at the camera while speaking.

  • For video, make sure you have good quality picture (light/focus) and can be seen clearly.

  • Make sure you have good quality sound and can be understood clearly. All entries must be entirely in English. (NOTE: We would also like to do a Spanish version, but we need someone to coordinate the project. If you are interested or know of someone who might like to help, please email as at info@solidfreedom.com.)

  • Each entry must be no longer than 5 minutes.

  • Blooper reels are encouraged, so there is no need to edit, except for time, profanity or other disqualfiers (see above).

  • No more than three entries per person per category (audio only and video).

  • You are welcome to record a group of people "We are...and we're going to buy it for..".

  • You are also welcome to "give" the video to multiple people in one take.

  • Your entry must be original and legally created. It must not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party, and you must own the rights of all segments included in your recording.

  • Video segments should not include any visible brand names or logos.

  • Do not include any music other than original music performed by you as part of the recording.
